This event is free for the public to attend. FIRST Robotics Competition teams pay to play.
Team Member Information
Qualifying Charger Robotics team members will be able to attend the Arkansas Regional with the team. Team Advisors will communicate requirements ahead of time so that students can best prepare for the event.
- Regular, productive attendance at team meetings, fundraisers, and community events
- Grades (in all classes) are a C- or higher
- Travel Fees are paid
Missed Schoolwork
Students will miss 3 days of school to attend this event (Wednesday 4/4 through Friday 4/6).
Students are encouraged to be diligent and proactive to reduce the impact to academics.
Student Travel Fee
$406.75 / student (~$135 per day), or sell 150 Raffle Tickets.
This helps cover the cost of transportation, parking, lodging, a pizza dinner, participation in the team social event, and other expenses related to ensuring the students have a positive experience at the competition.
As a reminder, families have the option to reduce their travel fees by selling Raffle tickets. Travel fees will be reduced by $2.15 for every ticket sold by that individual student.
