Special Support
Want to help us with something specific?
Here's a few projects and initiatives the team is specifically looking for assistance with!

Work & Practice Space
Hamilton School District policy changes in 2025 removed our access to machines shops and workspaces until HSD AET teachers affiliate with our program.
We're looking for space large enough to permanently set up our FRC playing field, a few FRC pits, a few machine shop tools, and office work areas for our Impact, Business, and Autonomy teams.

FRC Cart Upgrades
Charger Robotics utilizes our FRC practice field for a variety of events, demonstrations, and practice.
The team plans to upgrade their Field Management System (FMS) cart, Audio/Visual cart, Carpet movers, Truss structure carts, and FRC field perimeter carts to improve safety, simplify and accelerate set-up/tear-down activities, and improve the robustness and travel-worthiness of our assets.

Refreshed Travel Pit
Charger Robotics frequently transports and sets up our Pit location - an area that includes workbenches, tool boxes, battery chargers, and other items to repair, upgrade, or maintain our robots, and promotional material to engage the community or competition judges.
The team plans to upgrade to a professional, road-case style mobile system.

New Trailer
Charger Robotics frequently transports our Robots, Pit, and Playing Fields to competitions, demonstrations, fundraisers, and other special events.
We're planning to upgrade to a dual axle, vinyl wrapped trailer that includes improved tie-downs, safety features, a side-access door, and lighting.

CNC Router & Laser Cutter
Charger Robotics frequently needs to cut custom shapes from wood, plastics, and aluminum.
The team plans to acquire their own machines to allow students to learn, accelerate our iterative design process, and reduce the time to cut and build our FRC field.

3D Printing Lab
Charger Robotics students frequently design custom mechanisms to bring their ideas to life. Charger Robotics mentors and students have been using their personal machines and transporting them to events.
The team plans to acquire a plurality of their own machines to accelerate our iterative design approach.
