About the event

Since 2001, Charger Robotics has been hosting a mock competition, which is open to any team that would like to attend for a small registration fee.  It gives teams the chance to test their robots, pit crews, drive teams, strategies, and scouting on a full-size FRC playing field constructed by Charger Robotics FRC Team #537.

There will be FIRST Tech Challenge and FIRST Lego League demonstrations as well.  Community members, sponsors, friends, family, and children can partake in interactive activities.

Charger Robotics also hosts the 2022 Mini-Regional Raffle at this event.  The raffle has become a major fundraiser for the participating teams, and it helps raise money for funding for parts for the robot, transportation of supplies to competitions, staging demonstrations, and paying many other expenses.

General admission is free!

  • 8:00 AM:  Teams arrive and set up their pits.
  • 9:30 AM:  Building opens to the public.
  • 10:00 AM:  Field opens for practice.
  • 11:30 PM:  Lunch Break (concessions will be available).
  • 12:00 PM:  Competition matches begin.
  • 3:45 PM:  Drawing for the 2022 Mini-Regional Raffle.
  • 5:00 PM:  Competition matches end.
  • 6:00 PM:  Pits close, field tear-down

Tickets

  • FRC Team Registration

    For FRC teams that wish to practice driving and testing their machines & strategies. This helps Charger Robotics offset the costs of HHS facilities & room rentals, custodial fees, snow removal, FRC Playing Field materials & construction, etc. Includes a pit area, power, and table.
