The FIRST Scholarship Program opens for the academic year on September 1st, and new scholarships are added through April.
Important dates!
Most application deadlines are between December and April of the last year of high school (12th grade), but be sure to pay close attention to individual deadlines and requirements.
FIRST Scholarships are offered and administered by the listed Provider and applications are submitted directly to them.
Most opportunities are made available every year, so even if you're not in your last year of high school, make sure to familiarize yourself with the opportunities in the program and are ready to apply.
Engineering/Technical Scholarships
NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing (AiC)

Students who self-identify as women, genderqueer, or non-binary and have computing-related achievements and interests are eligible.

Engineers Foundation of Wisconsin

Students must show qualifications for success in education, pursuing an eligible 4-year engineering program, and intend to enter the practice of engineering after graduation.
A minimum of 3.2 GPA and a 26 on the ACT is required.

Destination MSOE Scholarship (PLTW, FIRST, Skills USA or TSA)

Students who have participated in Charger Robotics are eligible tuition-based scholarship renewable for up to six years.
Students must submit a letter of recommendation from their Advisors or mentors attesting to participation.

Entrepreneurial Scholarships
BadCredit.org Wealth Wise Scholarship

Open to US students seeking a career in the finance industry. Scholarship amount will be awarded based on academic merit and submission of a short essay to be titled "How the US Credit Scoring System Can Be Improved".
A minimum 3.5 GPA is required.

These scholarships are not sponsored or endorsed by the Hamilton School District.
Many colleges, universities, and technical schools offer scholarships to their incoming students. Check with the financial aid office of the school you will be attending for a listing of available scholarships.
If you are receiving a scholarship from an outside organization such as a business or college, please advise Student Services and Charger Robotics Advisors as soon as possible.
